Where: Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, USA
When: August 2011
MoMA was definitely on the ‘must see’ list while in New York and is the most famous host worldwide of modern art.

Inside there was a plethora of art which covered the bases of being unique, bizarre, beautiful, ugly, confusing, controversial and most importantly, creative.Which just happens to be exactly how I love my art.
The leftovers from a hole punch.

The artful depiction of the “hobo code” which are symbols written in chalk that communicate common safety and liveability concerns for the homeless.

The Avatar Machine which is actually meant to be worn (and even includes a camera in the back!) and brings the player and the former digital only avatar to ‘reality’

Mojibakeru = moji (character) + bakeru (to change)
These amazing educational toys are essentially a Transformer, which transforms from the Japanese character into the animal it actually represents.

The Tweenbot is a sweet innocent robot trying to find it’s way through New York City, it’s success depended on the kindness of strangers…. obviously people are kind as the Tweenbot survived!

More from MoMA…
