The show floor of IMATS Sydney is a busy hub featuring shopping interspersed with makeup demonstrations throughout the floor as well as a makeup ‘museum’ which showcased infamous works from film and television.
Makeup Demonstrations
One of my favourite booths, was Skincognito as they had several live demonstrations over the weekend, and it fascinating watching someone being dramatically transformed in front of our eyes.

Makeup Museum curated by Tyrone Finlay
A big and pleasant surprise at IMATS was the Makeup Museum curated by Tyrone Finlay, which was pretty much a shrine to nerd culture which featured works from film and television.

Throughout the day R2D2 would be taken out for a spin – in case you were wondering, he is remote controlled.
