One of my favourite collections at Australian Graduates Fashion Week thanks to the very clear muse of Charlie Chaplin. Actually, Charlie Chaplin was more than just a muse, he WAS the collection with his iconic face digitally printed on numerous pieces from trousers to dresses.
While I actually think that that having a face on any form of clothing is quite polarising, aka I usually hate it. The fact that I loved this collection was a true revelation for myself! I loved this collection because I have simply have never seen anything like this. A clear and unfeminine inspiration printed on the fabric strategically placed to do the female figure justice, mixed in with androgynous looks… and who doesn’t love a top hat?
