By now you must have seen my interview with the designer of NARA?
Of course you have!
In our interview it was all about her upcoming debut at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia – so naturally I was a wee bit excited to see her collection strut down the runway as part of the Raffles International Showcase.
Her Spring/Summer collection was full of pinks, silver metallic and digital prints all of which was ready to wear which was a stark contrast to her graduate collection which consisted of a neutral colour palette.
The collection is vintage inspired taken from the 1940s during World War 2. On a somewhat ‘deep’ note, clothes have the ability to evoke how we feel as well as how we WANT to feel. Despite the depressing time period the bright and bold colours are to perfect to reflect the ethos of being “Free to Dream.”
