Review: Models Prefer Lip Range

I must admit, when I first heard of the brand Models Prefer I was a bit skeptical… anything with a name that has a claim like that brings out my cynicism.

So while I don’t believe the claims of these nameless models, I can only judge from my own experience.

The brand is exclusive to Priceline, which pretty much means it is the beauty version of being an affordable "home brand."

I was sent a lipstick and lip pencil from the Models Prefer range and dare I say it looks awesome, especially the lipstick!

So let’s start there…

The Lust Lipstick

Yes, it looks pretty sexy the Lust Lipstick.

The Lust Lipstick actually claims it is for "light coverage" which pretty much means that it's great for those that want something low key for an everyday look, and the in-betweener option of a lipgloss vs. highly pigmented lipstick. There are so many ladies who get somewhat intimated by a bold lip colour - I used to be one of them! This is the perfect transition product.

Priceline Models Prefer - Lust Lipstick - Cherry Pie
The Lipstick is creamy, a fantastic moisturiser and lightly pigmented which was surprising despite the look of the lipstick itself in the shade of "Cherry Pie" which looked quite rich before application.

Unfortunately, this also means for those that want or accustomed to a highly-pigmented lipstick this lipstick would probably not be suitable.

The Infinite Colour Lip Liner

I am massively guilty of not using lip pencils… until now.

The Models Prefer Lip Pencil range actually has a clear/white lip pencil, “Clearly Sealed” which means by default it suits every single shade of lipstick. I love this product and it has been promptly added to my staples. And has made me run out of excuses not to use lip pencils!
