"I know you can be overwhelmed, and you can be underwhelmed, but can you ever just be whelmed?" - Chasity from 10 Things I Hate About You
I felt whelmed using Aveeno Active Naturals Night Cream, it's an affordable product that gets the job done (without a negative reaction, yay!) but it didn't wow me... although it would be a bit odd if I was overexcited about a night cream right? I liked the product, but I didn't love it.
I used it throughout the 'colder' months (Sydney 'winter' was more like Spring) as a substitute for my normal moisturiser, and the thicker texture did work better throughout the night. But no 'wow' can be awarded.
Even though this product didn't wow me, I actually am an Aveeno fan simply because after using supermarket brands throughout High School that wrecked havoc on my sensitive skin. It is great that is a supermarket brand that is readily available AND affordable. Aveeno products work for me, and the fact they are making the concept of 'naturals' more accessible can only be a good thing (though you should note, this is supermarket 'natural' not 'natural natural').
This product claims to give you an 'extra boost on all 5 factors of Radiance - tone, texture, dullness, blotchiness and brown spots.' Yeah it's kind of hard to prove that on my already flawness face, but a bit more awesome on my face couldn't hurt right?
If you want an affordable product, that gets the job done this is for you. If you want the miracle product to knock off 10 years off your face... keep looking!
