Benefit make fun products, and it also seems that to work at Benefit, part of the job means having to dress up... jealous.
Last time I was at the Benefit Boutique at Paddington, Sydney it was for the Fake Up launch. But honestly, I was more excited this time round. Before we start here’s what you need to know:
1. I am naturally an unhairy person, which is an awesome trait in certain areas but unfortunately, not beneficial for my thin and sparse brows.
2. I love magicians – no matter how cheesy or ‘street’ they are.
So having a launch dedicated to Gimme Brow, as well as a magic theme… I loved it.
Gimme Brow claims to make brows 'magically appear,' the product itself is a 'brush-on fiber gel' which comes in 2 shades: light/medium & medium/deep.
Remember when I said I had thin & sparse brows? Well this product actually works! It made my brows look thicker (aka ah-mazing) AND it looked natural as well.
I'm an inbetweener & I got to try out both. Instore I wore the medium/deep, while I was gifted the light/medium... So which did I prefer? While I use the light shade regularly, my brows would look oh-so-much-better with the deeper shade.
If the blue haired gal looks familiar, it's beauty blogger/Benebabe Miss Kitty Charms
As amazing as Gimme Brow is, I cannot do launch coverage without indulging in a bit of poorly shot amateur food porn...
Benefit's Gimme Brow is out now and retails for $32.
I attended the launch as a media guest.
