AGFW 2013: Part One

With well over 30 designers showing at Australian Graduates Fashion Week, it's going to take a few posts to get through them all!

The winner was Bei Na Wei from Sydney's Fashion Design Studio, you can check out her collection here. The perfect way to kick off part one is with the runner up...

Kiaya Daniels

Menswear tends to be scarce at any fashion event, so it's very refreshing to see a men's range! Especially when it is versatile and has elements that could be worn by the 'everyday' man as well as those who prefer something a bit more eclectic. Another alumni from the Fashion Design Studio who both will also have their collections hit the runway for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia!).

Talyah Falabella

I missed out... big time...

When Talyah's name popped on the screen, I later discovered that it had a simple request "turn flash on." Thanks to a pole obstructing the screen/my view - I missed out!

Fortunately, her collection and pieces were strong enough to be admired without the flash. But with flash on, it took the collection to another level.
