As we've clearly established, my favourite colour is blue... So understandably I was incredibly excited when I was invited to the Australian launch of Shay & Blue last week, which is now instore at David Jones.
I love smelling fragrances but unfortunately I don't have the talent to describe scents with a succinct yet pretentious vocabulary. So let's go simple, the scents are elegant, fresh and very unique compared to the fragrances that are readily available and just like personalities are multifaceted, this could be a refreshing addition to the perfume collection.
The price points are:
30ml = $60.00
100ml = $105.00
Candles = $65.00

The scents were reflected in the canapés and cocktails. Starting off with the impressive cucumber and almond cocktail (finished it!), and moving onto canapés of persian feta puff palters with smoked beetroot relish, peking duck with a mango and lime salad, and to hit the sweet spot, rosewater splashed chocolate dipped strawberries.
But let's take a close up shot of the smoked salmon and dill cream cheese roulades... yum!
The launch was held at the ECQ Bar at Circular Quay, and had a pretty decent view of the Harbour Bridge.
Normally, I don't like posting multiple shots of essentially the same thing but there are exceptions... thanks to this view - I blame Sydney.
And how cute are the bags? Perfectly matching the boxes the fragrance are housed in which was the perfect way to top off a gorgeous night!
I attended the Shay & Blue launch as a media guest.
