Heard of OFRA Cosmetics? Well, you're about to! It's a relatively new brand that I was introduced to at IMATS last year.
I headed to The Stables, Surry Hills a few weeks ago (March 18 to be more specific) to check out the complete range and have a celebratory brunch for their new Australian website.
OFRA Cosmetics is a US brand that was created by Ofra Gaito over 20 years ago. I've been using their Diamonds Are Forever palette for awhile (#gifted) and I can happily confirm that I haven't had a single allergic reaction AND I look totes pro with my first magnetic palette.
The brand is hypoallergenic, skin friendly and not tested on animals (need to do my research to see if they are sold in China).
For those that just somehow magically always end up in Priceline. They do have a product easily available and that's RCK which stands for Red Carpet Kolour yes, they spelt "colour" with a K (#nocomment). Which doesn't have the OFRA Cosmetics branding anywhere on the packaging but they're still from the same family. It's been described as a bronzer/BB cream for the body and NOT a fake tan that dries quickly and leaves a bit of shimmer.
Makeup artist Tobi Henney was on hand to demonstrate looks using the range...
To unleash my inner Surry Hills hipster, I of course had to 'indulge' in a green smoothie from Where The Wild Things Grow, what it lacked in sugar/sweetness was made up for in happy thoughts and
Cue the gluttony...
Look! pretty flowers!
I attended the launch as a media guest.
