Review: Bon Voyage - Travel Products

My second 'assignment' as part of the beautydirectory's Expert Panel. This time round, it was s collective for products all about travel.

For this review, I got to play with:
  • VS Sassoon AC Pro Twist
  • Swisspers Rosehip Rejuvenating Facial Cleansing Wipes 25’s
  • The Jojoba Company - Travel Essentials Pack
  • BioElixia BodyShaper Multi Purpose Rescue Balm
  • Bioelements Travel Light - Age Activist Kit
Yep, it was a lot. Let's go!

VS Sassoon AC Pro Twist

I was the most excited about trying out the VS Sassoon AC Pro Twist, things with twist just tend to be good like KFC Twister, Round the Twist, and the infamous Big Brother twist... ohhhh (although I've conveniently left out the film, Twister from this list #noonegivesaflyingcow).

This hairdryer is built for travel as it as a twist handle that makes it easier to pack. I was a bit surprised at the size and weight of the hair dryer, as I anticipated a 'mini' hairdryer but this is still travel sized.

The hairdryer itself features 2 heat settings and a fan setting (perfect for cooling your nails). As well as 2 attachments: a concentrated nozzle for sleek and straight and a volumising diffuser for natural curls.

TIP: To successfully twist, I would advise holding the handle with the right hand so you can follow the instructions properly and not spend too long feeling incompetent because you can't follow simple instructions...

BioELIXIA Body Shaper

My happy surprise and my favourite product to review was the Body Shaper from BioExixia. I initially thought I wouldn't have a use for it then BAM! I realised I have random bouts of itchiness and being a chronic scratcher, this definitely does work in stopping me in my tracks! Its soothing without having a strong scent or giving a 'burning' feeling... it's perfect. Even though I didn't use it for this purpose, I can see it being great for sunburns.

Swisspers Rosehip Rejuvenating Facial Cleansing Wipes 25's

Who doesn't need cleansing wipes? These are super handy for both travel and 'reality.' A perfect way to refresh when your in cattle class when they don't give you those hot towels, after a big night or simply in a hurry.

Major bonus, these agree with my skin - no breakouts or weird rashes (yes, that has happened before), major tick!

Price: $6.59
Size: 25 pack
Where: Priceline, selected pharmacies, supermarkets

The Jojoba Company - Travel Essentials Pack

A well thought out travel kit, I love the ones that come with a transparent bag, anything that makes it easier going through the security screening is a major plus.

This kit contains the key essentials:
  • Jojoba Bead Facial Cleanser 20ml
  • Hydrating Day Cream 20ml
  • Intense Overnight Renewal Cream 20ml
  • Lemon & Coconut Hand Cream 20ml
  • 100% Natural Australian Jojoba 15ml
FYI the Facial Cleanser smells amazing!

Bioelements Travel Light - Age Activist Kit

I'm not at the stage where I need to use anti-aging skincare, or so I tell myself.

But I did have a dabble using the Age Activist Kit from Bioelements. Skincare will notoriously take up a ton of space and a fair bit of weight when you travel. After all, every gram counts when you want to shop! So this light 4-piece travel friendly kit. is very welcome. I was particularly drawn to the sleepwear as I like the idea of invisible elves working their magic by putting the beauty in my beauty sleep.

By that immature simile, I am clearly way too young to be using anti-aging.

This kit includes:
  • Advanced VitaMineral C Complex 3.6ml
  • Multi-Task Eye Creme 3.6ml
  • Sleepwear 7.3ml
  • Sleepwear for Eyes 3.6ml
Price: $59.90
